In February 2019, I launched Bailey Jacobs, Episodes 1 to 4 from The Bank House, my local coffee shop in Whitehead. With the help of Sinead and the team, I set up in a quiet corner and cautiously waited for the doors to open.
When customers started to roll in, the need to buy a book from a local author was second to the need to buy a decent coffee and a slice of cake. But it didn't take long for someone to question who the man was in the corner surrounded by books. From there, interest grew and at one stage there was even a queue.
That was my first ever book launch and I met a lot of great people and signed books for three hours solid. So, a huge thank you to everyone who came down on the day. It was very much appreciated.
